Suspicious sign ups

We have had a large influx of new members who never post, have free webmail email addresses and IP addresses in China etc. who are probably spammers in waiting.

From now on, we ask that new members post at least one message so we know that you are not here to spam/harvest email addresses/promote the three P's etc. Even if you only post to say that you have arrived on the forum with intent to lurk and not participate.

I apologize in advance if any innocent bystanders get hit with the ban-hammer in the coming purge, just sign up again and let us know you are a person and not a spambot, or alternatively, hurl abuse at me at the usual email address.
