Hi. My name is Pete. Semi retired, looking for a new hobby. Very interested in taking up metal detecting. Live very near to Wiltshire countryside, and wondered what I need to do before I think about setting out with a detector. The reason I want to start such a hobby, is that as far as I can see it would be very interesting, and also something that would keep me fit and active. Any tips would be welcome. On what to buy. Where to go to do it etc?
