Metal detecting on welsh beaches

Hi guys
Sorry if i've posted this in the wrong place as i couldn't find the right place to post it, anyway what i would like to know is are all beaches in Wales ok to metal detect now and are you allowed to travel to the beaches from other area's.

Went to Barmouth beach today but only found a bottle top as we found other holes that someone had dug so think we need to start going earlier to have more of a chance  :(

Yep, you might need to get in there earlier! There are always other places to try though, and nobody finds it all!

Had a run out to Rhyl today and found 2x bottle tops, a ring pull, a large nail, whats left of a nut n bolt, a 2p piece, some foil and a lump of metal  ;D

That's a solid start!

If you are actually finding stuff you know you are getting the settings right on your detector!

Remember to keep your discrimination as low as you can stand and your sensitivity as high as you can stand!

With everybody going to the beaches in the good weather, there should be plenty of cash around to find!
