Title: Anyone in Southern Scotland, Northern England?
Post by: Peter on July 12, 2007, 09:07:39 AM
Hi all, I have just had a resurgence in the hobby after a lengthy (very lengthy) lay off after I came across an old but working c-scope metadec. I remember that in it's day, it was one of the detectors to aspire to but as modern technology has progressed so far and quickly in recent years, I was wondering how detectors had progressed, in short, would it be worth getting to know the metadec or would it be better to confine it to a museum and look for a more modern machine? The metadec is a heavy piece of kit and was registered in 1981!
Regards, Peter
