Title: Spitfire engine spotted at a museum in Guernsey
Post by: Phantom_Major on December 06, 2007, 00:04:16 AM
Thought the aviation archaeology enthusiasts might like to see this, it was apparently brought up in fishing nets off the coast of Guernsey in 1974. Can't remember the name of the museum, but I will post it when I dig out the leaflets I picked up whilst there. They had other aircraft parts inside the museum recovered by divers.
