Hi guys

I am currently on the phone to my local council and have been for the past 2 hrs to ask about metal detecting a local woods in a park, started at number 23 in the quew and now at number 5 in the quew, wish me luck  :D

Well after the guy on the phone telling me what i have to do if i find anything of value ( report it ) he has told me to email the park department to find out which i have done so will see what happends now  :-\

You are very lucky to have got that far! Normally they would just say no and that would be that!

Get any permissions/agreements etc. in writing if you are able!

The parks department have given me the email address of the person i need to ask and have emailed him and he said he will let me know Monday Tuesday so fingers crossed  :)
