Visits To Famous Battle Sites
It has never been easier to visit famous battle sites,
many specialist holiday companies provide guided tours of
pretty much every significant world war 1 and world war 2
site you can think of. Even some of the large travel
agencies that are more used to providing package holidays to
Spain have got in on the act.
A quick web search will reveal many coach trips to the
Normandy beaches etc. But remember, these trips are for
people with an interest in the history of the sites, they
are not battlefield digging expeditions.
